Mask Medical Information

The masks are made from 100% cotton fabric, and contain three layers total of cotton fabric (including an 100% cotton lining inside the face covers). They are not the same as medical grade face masks. Each mask comes with adjustable elastic and a nose bridge (perfect to hold the mask in place and great for glasses wearers to stop fogging)

PLEASE NOTE: Covering of your face when you leave home is a public health measure and must not replace. proven precautions like self-quarantine at home, social distancing and thoroughly washing your hands
You can wash my face mask in your regular machine wash for cleaning purposes
Change and wash your face mask regularly for optimum protection.

Fitting of the face cover
The most important thing is to cover your entire nose and mouth, which means that the face cover should fit underneath the chin.

This is not medical advice but a few points on how to wear them:
- wash your hands thoroughly with soap before putting on
- when wearing outside the home keep the mask on the whole time - don't pull down onto your neck and then back onto your face.
- when putting on and taking off try to only touch the elastic
- wash them with detergent after every use outside

Be aware the photo of the fabric may not match the colours in the fabric exactly

Each mask is handmade by Katherine in Brisbane, Queensland, please allow for up to 7 days from order for the mask to be ready for the post.

KIDS MASKS

If you would like a kids mask version of my masks, just add kids mask to the notes at checkout. The measurements of the kids mask are 10cm x 20cm and will fit most kids under the age of 10, over that age they will most likely need a size small.  Use the size guide above, if they have smaller measures in either measure (nose to chin or ear to nose) than the small, I would purchase them a kids mask. 

Each kids mask comes with a long piece of elastic rather than ear elastics.  This is to allow for the mask to be worn over the head not hooked over the ears.  Once fitted on your child, tie the ends of the elastic to the desired tightness.
